Hiring considerations
Before hiring, consider whether the skills already exist in your organisation. Training or reallocating staff might be a more effective way to fill gaps.
- When to hire - if data-driven decision-making is lacking, or if KPIs are not being tracked effectively.
- When to upskill - if a team member is good at working with data, analysing trends, and visualising performance metrics
- Essential skills - data analysis, performance measurement, dashboard development, data storytelling
- Common tools - Google Analytics, Microsoft Power BI (for performance monitoring), Excel (for data analysis), Confluence (for KPI documentation)
